Recycling project Oppatt

Now the inhabitants of Nordre Land and Søndre Land can contribute to an even more environmentally friendly and sustainable local community through Oppatt.

The Oppatt project is a new project at Dokkadeltaet National Wetlands Center, in collaboration with, among others, Nordre Land and Søndre Land municipalities, voluntary centres, the growth company Sølve AS, Horisont IKS and more.

With Oppatt, through recycling workshops, we will give residents of all ages the opportunity to learn techniques and ideas for how used and discarded objects in various materials can be repaired, refurbished, redesigned or otherwise taken care of and used in new and creative ways.

In Nordre Land, the premises will be in Dokka, in Søndre Land it will be in premises in the Pit-Stop house in collaboration with Sølve AS. During the project, events, courses and various pop-up activities may also be relevant in other locations, and collaboration with other contributors. The workshops are expected to start during the month of March. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for more information.

The project is supported by Sparebankstiftelsen DNB, with funds from an allocation with the aim of increasing awareness of responsible consumption among the population. The project is particularly rooted in sustainability goal 12: responsible consumption and production.

In collaboration with the recycling company Horisont, it will be possible to deliver reusable items at the environmental stations Åmot, Vinjarmoen and Hov from 19 February. Everything that is collected will be used at recycling workshops that will be available to all residents of the municipalities.
